AAAH's Pre-Purchase Counseling provides first-time homebuyers with personal one- on-one support through the homebuying process and develop steps to become successful homeowners. With the assistance of our HUD-approved homebuying counselors, clients will work to become "mortgage-ready."
Due to COVID-19, AAAH's in-person Homebuying Classes are postponed. However, first-time homebuyers can participate in virtual homebuying classes through eHome America and explore opportunities to homebuying resources.

Next Steps for Applicants
Following your intake submission, an AAAH staff member will contact you to discuss next steps and provide you with an application packet to begin your homebuying counseling process.
Submitting Your Application

2. Purchase a Credit Report Here ($30 for individuals, $50 for married couples)
Don't worry, this is a "soft-pull" on your credit report and will not negatively affect your score.
3. A Counselor will review your application materials and set up an appointment to begin your homebuyer counseling sessions.
