Program Coordinator

Hiermon Medhanie is the Home Retention and Power to the People program coordinator for the African American Alliance for Homeownership. Ms. Medhanie is a University of Oregon Alumni who graduated with degrees in Business and Communications. She has worked in both marketing and property management, which has developed her ability to identify, coordinate, and repair our client’s homes efficiently and personably. Her goal as a program coordinator is to assist underserved members of our community retain their homes through consistent maintenance and improve their efficiency via green alternatives. By extending the life of East Portlander’s homes, she hopes to see families enjoy their property for many future generations.
